Facebook was more popular than Youtube ever.

 

This is the graph of facebook, from 2004 to the present day. Thanks to Google Trends, we have this data that conforms that 

Facebook was more popular than Youtube ever.

To this day, 26-11-2023. it is a true fact. in 2012, Facebook had its most number of active users those searched for it the most. That was a time when Mark's Facebook, was truly a huge data beast. 

But from that time on, facebook started losing popularity, decreasing to only 9% of its maximum ever viewers, today. 

Meanwhile YouTube, a video sharing platform, had its very own user base, only got a 50% of Facebook's max user count at its peak searched user count just after two months of Facebooks peak, the December of 2012. 

Facebook's loss & YouTube's gain.

In the past 5 years, YouTube, who only got less maximum search count compared to Facebook, turned the graph upside down. Getting its user base in Russia and many other major countries, YouTube, simply had its time. rising to more than 2.70 billion monthly active users as of 2023. Achieving more than 70% of all Facebook users (3.05 billion users as of Q3 2023). 

In the google search data, YouTube majestically achieved roughly 71% of searchers combined of both webpages.
