It didn’t take too long, until the news leaked and public panic started to arise. Still, spaceY was so suspicious about this report, they kept analyzing the report. Quickly, to prevent further damages, spaceY released the new trajectory, with caution and reliability of the news, NASA changed the trajectory in which they were going to remove the international space station from low earth orbit. This news was the headlines of the international news until when the clock struck two. spaceY called a press meet, in which it announced,



“The trajectory of the ISS has already been changed, and it’s impossible to undo anything now. We know this is very irresponsible and bad for the entire planet or else, the future of humanity. We have concluded our checks on this news of the mismatched trajectory of one Starlink satellite, but the truth is that, Nothing was wrong, it was just an error caused by some natural phenomena. “


By the time spaceY concluded, an international public wave of endless questions started to strike spaceY .International panic enraged NASA on this issue, as they were too quick to react.

Now, the problems started to make a very rough turn, causing a global massacre strengthening our common border, to outer space.

As most of our satellites were orbiting the low-earth orbit, even a collision with two satellites can cause widespread debris, all around the planet earth.

40,000 satellites have shattered into fine debris that travel one third of the speed of sound. Predicting the trajectory of these debris proves a hard to tackle challenge, as its complex nature even surpasses precise calculations. These debris form a thick, hard-to-go-through border, into space. All space launches, including Artemis 2, have been delayed.





Chapter 2

Cleaning Up The Mess

Even though messing up the whole space architecture was destroyed, the Global positioning system and satellite surveys and weaponry alert systems were also destroyed, solar panels across the world stopped working, broadcasts stopped. The important challenge wasn’t even the financial strike or the global economic hardship it caused, but the cleaning of this new border. How do we do it?

How will we clean billions of space debris that travel at one third of sound’s speed?

Well, as it turned out, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Cambridge, found a very nice technology just to do that! They have designed a robotic ionic propulsion based device that can move in space without much energy and use ion beams or lasers to alter the orbit of debris, causing them to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere and burn up.

Soon, an international meeting was held by the United Nations, assembling guests from every prominent country. After tough discussion on various factors and political debates, everyone finally agreed on an agreement to put this design by MIT to action. Within a matter of seconds, equipped with the gear of NASA and the US Defence, Collectively, the United Nations made it work, and launched the rocket housing it, at the Wenchang Space Launch Site. Within a matter of months, four hundred of such robots were put into action, and as days passed by, the light of a new glory from the sun, shining through the layer of debris, re-entered the planet, with its full glory, the Sun glowed like never before, hosting hope in the minds of four billion humans (as the sun only shines at half of the planet at once).

Everyone was happy, but Melon, the CEO of SpaceY was not. As the brightest billionaires got bankrupt paying the two hundred billion dollar lawsuit. Unable to pay it, he is still in prison. And his y.com account got removed, as they don’t encourage criminals posting.

Slowly, the darkness across planet earth disappeared, GPS was back, the world celebrated by taking a satellite image of the earth once more from space, on the high earth orbit (to get a wider view).
