For an easy start, download SideQuest, available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It serves as an "Alternative App Store" and simplifies the process of sideloading apps via APKs.

Once SideQuest is installed, proceed to install BMBF. This tool, developed by the Unicorns, facilitates custom song integration into the latest Beat Saber version. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Run Beat Saber UNMODDED initially.
2. Install BMBF by dragging and dropping the BMBF APK file onto the top left corner of SideQuest.
3. Download BMBF from here.
4. Drag the downloaded BMBF into SideQuest, then launch it from within unknown sources on your Quest. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

Important Notes:

• If Beat Saber updates, BMBF may not be compatible immediately. In such cases, downgrade Beat Saber to a compatible version easily with OculusDB or Beat Saber Legacy.
• Backup your local saved scores before installing BMBF.
• Modding your game will disable Official Multiplayer and base game leaderboards. For modded multiplayer, consider using the Beat Together mod.
• To access leaderboards on custom songs and earn Performance Points (PP) from ranked songs, install the ScoreSaber mod.

Managing BMBF on Your PC (optional): Access BMBF on your PC or Mac by entering your Quest’s IP address followed by :50000. Example: http://10.0.1.40:50000/
